Breast Lift Surgery Inland Empire
Pregnancy, weight loss, and aging often cause the breasts to lose volume and begin to sag, which can be corrected with a cosmetic plastic surgery procedure. At my Inland Empire plastic surgery practice, I see patients who would like to regain a more youthful and fuller bustline through breast lift surgery. This procedure can help patients reduce sagging, raise the breasts a higher position on the chest wall, and add volume.
I typically use the vertical incision during the procedure because it preserves the conical shape of the breasts. This results in a more powerful lift. By making the incision around the areola and vertically down the breast, the lift addresses the lower portion of the breast in order to remove excess skin, fat, and tissue. In addition, approximately 80 percent of breast lift patients have either saline or silicone gel breast implants placed to add volume. Depending on the degree of sagging, breast augmentation may be more appropriate than a lift, which would also minimize scarring. Ultimately, the patient is the one who must choose what she would like to achieve. From there, I can then create a personalized treatment plan.
