Abdominoplasty – Inland Empire Tummy Tuck

Inland Empire Breast Lift

It is not uncommon for women, particularly later in age, after weight loss or pregnancy and breastfeeding, to find themselves dissatisfied with the direction their breasts have begun to head in. All of these factors, as well as genetics, contribute to causing breasts to sag. While there is no one perfect solution for each woman, many women have chosen to undergo a Breast Lift procedure to restore their breasts to a more youthful position. Board certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Andreasen has helped many Inland Empire-area women in their quest to restore a more youthful appearance to their breasts.

During a Breast Lift procedure an incision- the size and shape of which will be specifically determined depending on the amount of lift necessary – is made around the areola area. The areola and nipple are typically left intact to their original blood supply and nerves. The excess skin which is sagging is removed and the breast is re-positioned higher. The areola is also generally repositioned higher to match the newly positioned breasts. In some cases the areola may also be re-shaped or re-sized, then the remaining skin is closed around the areola creating perkier, more youthful and firmer breasts.

Inland Empire Liposuction

Many people who eat well and exercise still have disproportionate figures wherein one area is larger than the rest. Why is this? It is due to localized fat deposits, the positions of which are likely determined by genetics. For these people no amount of diet and exercise may be enough to slim that area down the size they desire in order to be in proportion with the rest of their body. Liposuction is a great procedure for those who are in good health and in otherwise good physical condition, for the exception of a localized area.

The way liposuction works is that several small incision points are made a long, skinny tube literally sucks out the fat deposits to slim and reshape that area into a more desirable form. Liposuction recovery varies from patient to patient, though all are asked to wear a compression garment for 3-4 weeks to help reduce swelling to provide extra support while you heal. Most patients are back to most of their usual daily routine in about 2 weeks time and can exert themselves fully by about 4 weeks time. Liposuction is very often done in conjunction with other body contouring procedures such as tummy tucks, arm lifts, thigh lifts or breast augmentation.
