Silicone Breast Implants Inland Empire

Since its approval by the Food and Drug Association (FDA) in November of 2006, silicone breast implants are providing more options regarding breast enhancement surgeries. Today, women who opt for breast enlargement may choose between saline or silicone gel filled breast implants. There have now been studies showing that silicone implants are safe and that there are no longer fears of autoimmune diseases. However, use of silicone implants are limited to women who are 22 years of age or older and those who are undergoing breast reconstruction surgery.
In addition to being deemed safe for use, silicone breast implants are known to show less rippling through the breast skin. Because of the cohesive gel filling, patients have often said that silicone implants look and feel more natural than saline filled breast implants. Even though there has been no direct link to illness caused by the silicone material, there are still some risks associated with this type of breast enhancement procedure. Some of these include capsular contracture and implant shifting; however, these are not limited to silicone gel breast implants as they may occur with saline filled implants as well.
